If you enjoy solving tough mechanical challenges and keeping production moving, this role is for you.Why You’ll Want This Job$34.80/hour starting pay$1000 Sign-On Bonus: $500 after 90 days; $500 after 180 days$1000 Retention Bonus after 365 daysChoose from steady off-shifts with potential overtimeYour Schedule Options2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday – Friday3rd Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am, Sunday – ThursdayOvertime based on business needsWhat You’ll TackleRepair, modify, and install equipment to maintain safe, reliable operationsDiagnose malfunctions and replace/repair parts on sophisticated building and production systemsPerform PMs on belts, piping, filters, mixers, valves, bearings, motors, gearboxes, dies, extruders, feeders, rolls, drive chains, classifiers, mills, seals, and pumpsTroubleshoot issues, conduct proof tests, and implement preventive measuresChampion 5S for organization, cleanliness, and safetyDeliver preventive and predictive maintenance activitiesRoot-cause analysis and timely implementation of corrective actionsMaintain accurate maintenance records and reportsInterpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematicsMonitor production machines to detect early signs of malfunctionPerform basic welding and fabricationWork safely in confined spaces and at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and platformsWhat You Bring5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (chemical facility preferred)Certified Maintenance Apprenticeship or Mechanical Institute CertificateDemonstrated skill in pump and gearbox rebuildsStrong preference for HVAC or electrical experienceAbility to read/understand technical manuals and CAD drawingsCapable of confined-space entry, working at heights, lifting, and manual workPC fluency (Word, Excel) and CMMS familiarity (MicroMain, SAP, or similar)Able to wear required PPE, including a respiratorOvertime flexibilitySolid attendance and safety historyAbout PPGPPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLDWe enable customers across industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets to protect and enhance surfaces worldwide.
