Job Description and Duties

The Joint Force Readiness Center (JRC) is responsible for the maintenance of the headquarters complex for the California Military Department (CMD). This office is intended to perform all aspects of building maintenance and administration for JRC. Under the direction of the JRC Logistics/Ops Manager, the Custodian Supervisor I will independently perform the duties of supervising the JRC custodian staff.

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) hours each month. Additional Application Requirements

Possession of Minimum Qualifications (MQ) will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If it is determined an applicant does not meet the MQ’s, the candidate will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position.
