Maintenance Supervisor, Energy (Night Shift)

Manage a small group of equipment maintenance technicians that are responsible for equipment availability, and performance. Perform preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of electro-mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment. Develop and maintain maintenance and calibration schedules for all tools, machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing facility. Perform supporting activities for engineering and manufacturing including 5S and Lean manufacturing activities, material handling improvements, production line configuration, and safety procedures. Manage workload with a positive attitude as a hands-on team player in a collaborative work environment.

Gigafactory New York is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. This person must be able to build upon previous successes and take our Maintenance teams to the next level. Candidate must be capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and department leaders to address concerns and issues that affect part quality, production efficiency, work cell ergonomics, equipment maintenance, etc. The successful candidate will also have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and management skills, demonstrating the ability to be an innovator and change agent.

Shift: 7:00PM-7:00AM Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday

• Provide effective supervision, training and coaching to assigned maintenance employees to achieve the required equipment up time, equipment repairs, and production goals. Maintain department records and inventories
  
• Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality
  
• Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety regulations and the plant's safety program
  
• Work with employees to resolve technical and machine problems. Schedule preventive maintenance to effectively meet production needs
  
• Provide the shift-to-shift communication link to keep all team members working toward the same goals. Communicate to employees all issues that affect the plant
  
• Maintain ongoing preventive maintenance program to ensure optimum equipment performance
  
• Oversee equipment upgrades and refurbishment projects, effectively coordinating with vendor support

• Four years or more of industrial maintenance supervisory or similar leadership experience preferred
• Strong preventive maintenance development experience, familiarity with reliability centered maintenance principles preferred
• Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals
  
• Able to work a night schedule, including weekday and weekend overtime
• Familiarity with CMMS preferred as well as hydraulics/pneumatics troubleshooting using prints
• PLC: troubleshooting with, or programming Allen Bradley or Siemens
• Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

• Supervisor Production Line Maintenance - $97,200 - $145,800/annual salary

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
