We are immediately hiring a Field Service Manager to lead and mentor our field service technician team in Charlotte, NC. Take full ownership of service operations, drive key performance metrics, and build a high-accountability culture.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Leadership: Coach, schedule, and hold field technicians accountable for productivity, safety, and clear communication.
• Technical Guidance: Act as the escalation point for complex industrial machinery diagnostics (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, PLC/controls, and CNC equipment). Must read schematics and technical drawings.
• Service Operations & KPIs: Manage dispatching, PMs, and emergency calls. Track response times, utilization, first-time fix rates, and warranty costs using ERP/CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

Key Qualifications Leadership & Management Proven experience leading, developing, and holding field service technicians accountable. Leadership presence with the ability to earn the respect of both experienced senior technicians and developing junior technicians.Demonstrated ability to coach employees, address performance issues, resolve conflicts, and build a positive and accountable team culture. Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership of department results rather than simply reacting to daily service issues. Knowledge of industrial machinery troubleshooting, including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, PLC/control, and automation systems. Experience diagnosing complex machine problems and providing technical guidance to field technicians. Experience with industrial machine tools, CNC equipment, material-handling equipment, or similar capital equipment may be considered when accompanied by service-management experience. Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.Experience managing field service scheduling, installations, preventive maintenance, warranty service, troubleshooting, and emergency service calls.
