Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD. PLEASE READ THIS FIRST! Qualifications High School Graduate and Successful Completion of CCISD TET/Child Guidance Program Must be 18 years of age. Education High School Diploma and TEA Aide Certification Special Knowledge/Skills Fluent in English (written and spoken) Other Completion of district substitute orientation Substitutes must be fingerprinted and are required to pass the background check. Employment with Clear Creek ISD is based on having an acceptable criminal history. Major Responsibilities and Duties Instructional Strategies: Follow lesson plans left by the teacher for whom he/she is substituting in accordance with the district’s philosophy, goals, and objectives. Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated. Classroom Management and Organization: Establish and maintain order in the classroom. Maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, materials, equipment, and facilities. Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and school Board Policies. Communications: Cooperate with school personnel. Report to the principal or his/her designee at the beginning and end of the school day. Work cooperatively with co‑workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
