What you will do- Use Autodesk Inventor to generate precise 3D models and production-ready drawings.
- Develop shop drawings, assemblies, and detailed part documentation for manufacturing.
- Partner with engineers, designers, and project managers to translate concepts into actionable designs.
- Apply feedback and issue revisions swiftly and accurately.
- Uphold company and industry drafting standards across all deliverables.
- Organize and maintain design documents and project files for easy retrieval.
- Verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
- Detect potential design/manufacturing issues and propose solutions before they reach the floor.
- Improve drafting processes, templates, and standards through continuous refinement.
- Keep skills sharp by staying up-to-date with Autodesk Inventor and related tools.
- Required: Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor 3D.
- Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
- Plus: Background in manufacturing or millwork drafting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and technical drawing practices.
- Impeccable attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaborative working style.
