LPN - Home HealthHome Health & Hospice | LPN & Medical Assistants | Full TimeDescriptionSummary: The LPN - Home Health works under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and is responsible for direct care of all assigned patients, within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act regulations of the State Board of Nursing and the American Nurses' Association, and the policies and procedures of the agency. The LPN is responsible and accountable for making decisions and providing care and documenting actions according to these regulations. This position may be required to cross train within the agency. Responsibilities in secondary position may require access to medical records and other computer access exceeding routine computer usage. Access to patient information may be necessary to fulfill the requirements of this role; therefore, adherence to Ballad privacy and security policies and practices is a must.Requirements: Must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing. Must carry current license from the appropriate state's Board of Nursing. Completion of an IV Therapy course from a hospital or nursing program is desirable. One-year med/surg nursing experience is required. Must successfully complete agency orientation. Must have dependable transportationLicenses and Certifications: Must carry current personal collision and liability insurance on any vehicle driven. Must maintain current driver's license in the appropriate state. Must possess and maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitationWork Requirements:Shift: Day On Call: Yes RotatingThe range for this position is $19.00-$27.00. Actual rate is dependent upon experience.
