Job Overview Department: Respiratory Therapy FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Responsibilities Provides top‑of‑scope practice in a direct patient care environment, utilizing respiratory therapy protocols and best practices to promote optimized care values and effectively partners with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional care outcomes. Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Practices in a technologically complex clinical setting managing ventilator integration to adaptive pulmonary support and airway management throughout multiple levels of care. Clinical ladders encourage internal growth and promotional opportunity through implementation of various clinical and process improvement projects at the unit, division, regional or system level.
