Business Development Coordinator

American Circular provides secure data destruction with a digitally documented chain of custody, helping clients meet compliance requirements while proving that data is fully removed. The organization focuses on keeping equipment and materials within Florida and the United States, and shares recovered value back with clients instead of quietly retaining it. Its customers include IT directors, facilities managers, and operations leaders in healthcare, financial services, education, professional services, and data centers.
Role Description The Business Development Coordinator is a full-time hybrid role based in Tampa, FL, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role supports revenue growth by identifying prospective clients, conducting market research, and maintaining lead pipelines for IT asset disposition and electronics recycling services. The coordinator will assist in preparing proposals and sales materials, scheduling and following up on client meetings, and tracking opportunities in CRM or similar systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include communicating with prospective and existing clients, coordinating service inquiries, and collaborating with operations to align customer needs with service offerings. The role also involves gathering customer feedback, supporting marketing and outreach activities, and contributing to process improvements that enhance client experience and business performance.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret data, monitor pipelines, and support business decisions.
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients and internal teams in a professional, responsive manner.
  • Experience with Market Research to identify target segments, understand industry trends, and support outreach strategies.
  • Ability in Proposal Writing to assist in drafting clear, accurate, and compelling proposals and sales documents.
  • Relevant experience in business development, sales support, or account coordination, preferably in B2B or technology-related services.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and common office productivity software.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
