Locums | Obstetrics & Gynecology | In-House Laborist | Toledo, OH ### Why This Role
- Academic laborist opportunity with OB residents providing first-assist support

- Setting: Hospital-Based OB Hospitalist
- Start Date: July 2026
- Coverage Dates: - July 26 (8a) - July 27 (8a) - July 31 (8a) - August 1 (8a) - August 2 (8a) - August 3 (8a) - August 7 (8a-5p) - August 9 (8a) - August 10 (8a)
- EMR: Epic ### Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- Active Ohio License
- Active BLS and ACLS
- Current Self-Query NPDB dated within 30 days of presentation
- Must be comfortable managing high-risk obstetric patients
- Must perform all required obstetric, labor and delivery, and gynecologic procedures ### Clinical Details
- Hospital-based Labor & Delivery coverage
- 10 Labor & Delivery beds
- High-risk OB population - 80% high-risk pregnancies - 20% low-risk pregnancies
- Approximately 25% C-section rate
- Required Procedures: - Vaginal deliveries - C-sections - VBACs - Breech deliveries - Multiple gestations - Abruptions - Third and fourth degree laceration repairs - OB ultrasound interpretation (Level I & II) - Operative gynecology including ectopic pregnancy management - Laparoscopic and open gynecologic procedures
- Support includes: - OB residents - Dedicated nursing staff - Midwife collaboration
- Level III Nursery
- Level I Trauma Center ### Community Details
