Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Unit

Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients primarily dealing with respiratory and cardiac diagnoses. This role requires a flexible nurse to float across different assignments as necessary and cover weekend shifts every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Manage telemetry monitoring for patients and respond to critical changes
• Administer medications and provide post-operative care
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current PA RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or similar setting
• Proficient in charting systems, particularly Cerner
• Experience with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
