About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid compact state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Trauma Level 3 experience - Strong assessment skills - Ability to respond to emergency situations Description: This position is for an Emergency Room Nurse. The nurse will work in a fast-paced emergency environment. They will assist in the assessment and care of patients. The nurse will manage patients with diverse diagnoses, including trauma, stroke, and infectious diseases. They should be able to interpret dysrhythmias and manage complex patient needs. Weekend shifts are required every other week. Patient ratios are expected to be 1:4. Candidates should be comfortable floating if needed. Nursing duties will include phlebotomy, IV administration, and EKG interpretation. Isolation protocols must be adhered to when necessary. Candidates must possess strong triage skills.
