Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to design, build, maintain, and support Operational Technology (OT) server environments that enable critical business and industrial operations. This role is responsible for the design, build, and administration of physical and virtual server infrastructure, Active Directory services, backup and recovery platforms, and system automation supporting OT applications and environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Windows and Linux server infrastructure, virtualization technologies, identity management, and disaster recovery solutions within highly available environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support OT server infrastructure supporting industrial and operational technology systems.

Build and maintain physical and virtual server environments utilizing VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms.

Administer and support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and authentication services within OT environments.

Develop and maintain server standards, operating procedures, and documentation for OT infrastructure.

Manage server lifecycle activities including installation, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning.

Implement and support backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions utilizing Veeam technologies.

Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.

Develop and maintain PowerShell and other scripting solutions to automate deployments and administration tasks.

Support cybersecurity initiatives through system hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

5+ years administering enterprise Windows Server environments.

Strong experience with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms.

Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Active Directory environments including Group Policy.

Strong PowerShell scripting experience.

Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall concepts.

Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting OT, SCADA, or industrial environments.

Familiarity with OT cybersecurity principles and infrastructure hardening.

Experience with Microsoft Failover Clustering and high-availability solutions.

Knowledge of industrial networking concepts and OT architectures.

Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, or cybersecurity certifications.

Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and disaster recovery solutions.
