New Locum Opportunity – Chicago, IL

Full‑time CRNA coverage needed for 3×12 or 4×10 weekly schedules in a high‑acuity academic hospital setting. 50 anesthetizing sites per day with strong attending supervision. Must have strong Epic experience as no EMR training is provided onsite.

PAY RANGE

• $230-240/hr
\n
• $375 Daily stipend for CRNA’s outside of Chicago needing flights, hotel, car rental.
\n

HIGHLIGHTS

• 3×12s (7a–7:30p) or 4×10s (7a–5:30p)
\n
• Must work 4 weeks/month — no part‑time accepted
\n
• Orientation: brief 1 day (may change to 2–3 days)
\n
• Epic EMR required — 2+ years experience mandatory
\n
• 50 anesthetizing sites/day
\n
• High‑acuity academic center
\n
• 19–23 supervising MDs + 10–20 CRNAs/day
\n
• Adult cases; peds & neuro exposure a plus
\n

• Coverage: Scheduled + No Call
\n
• Shift Options:

\n
• 3×12s → 7a–7:30p (30‑min unpaid lunch)
\n
• 4×10s → 7a–5:30p (30‑min unpaid lunch)
\n
\n
• Occasional additional 12‑hr shift may be offered
\n
• OT opportunities at times, not guaranteed
\n

• No need for OB, thoracic, regional, or hearts

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

• Academic teaching hospital environment
\n
• 50 anesthetizing locations daily
\n
• Strong MD supervision (CRNAs never independent)
\n
• 19–23 MDs + 10–20 CRNAs per day
\n
• EPIC EMR (mandatory previous experience)
\n
• RTO for first 3 months must be submitted upfront
\n
• Supervisor reference required upfront
\n

REQUIREMENTS

• NBCRNA Certified
\n
• Illinois license required
\n
• BLS
\n
• DEA
\n
• IL CSR
\n
• Epic experience: minimum 2 years
\n
• Minimum 2 years CRNA experience
\n
• Must be comfortable in fast‑paced academic environments
\n
• Credentialing: ~3.5 months
