Description - Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory analyses including chemistry, hematology, and immunology while adhering to established guidelines.
• Evaluate test results for precision, rectify discrepancies, and ensure the reliability of laboratory equipment through regular maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and ensure proper sample preparation for testing procedures.
• Thoroughly document processes, mentor new personnel or students, and help to sustain the high standards of lab quality.
• Uphold a tidy, safe working environment and follow all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtained ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain certification throughout your career with us.
