Radiologic Technologist I - Ambulatory

Overview Sentara Urgent Care South Boston is now hiring a Part‐Time Radiology Technologist in South Boston, VA. Location & Shift South Boston, VA. Swing Shift. Schedule: Clinic hours – 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Rotating weekend schedule, 4 p.m.–8 p.m. shifts during the week for 20 hours per week. Responsibilities Conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, including positioning of patient for correct anatomy/pathology, operating radiation‐producing equipment, operating electronic radiology systems, and preparing patient room/equipment/medications. Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both radiology and lab. Qualifications Registry‑eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must be registered within 90 days of hire. Licensed Rad Tech required for staff employed in Virginia.
