Executive Search Consultant

Medtronic seeks an Executive Search Consultant to lead talent research and sourcing for senior leadership positions across the organization. Based in Minneapolis with remote flexibility, the role involves identifying executive candidates, conducting market intelligence analysis, and supporting succession planning initiatives for a global healthcare technology company.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to define search strategies and leadership requirements for executive roles
- Develop research strategies to identify target industries, competitors, and executive talent pools
- Source and engage senior-level candidates through advanced methodologies and market mapping
- Build and maintain executive talent pipelines and target company lists for current and future needs
- Analyze and communicate market intelligence on talent availability, competitive landscape, and compensation trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years executive search/recruitment experience, or Advanced degree with 8+ years
- Demonstrated expertise in executive talent research, market mapping, and proactive sourcing
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, CRM platforms, and Boolean search techniques
- Experience assessing candidates and managing executive-level engagement throughout search processes
- Ability to present talent market insights and sourcing strategies to senior stakeholders
- Preferred: medical technology, medical device, or life sciences industry background
