Warehouse Material Handler

Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for a contract opportunity with our client in Olathe, Kansas .


Overview


This role involves managing the movement, organization, and tracking of materials from inventory to the production floor, ensuring accurate and timely material flow to support manufacturing operations.


Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare materials based on production and work orders
• Stage materials for production in designated areas
• Perform inventory transactions accurately within computer systems
• Maintain organized storage areas and stock materials as needed
• Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Monitor and report inventory discrepancies
• Follow all safety procedures and standard operating guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 0-2 years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or related environment
• Basic understanding of inventory control processes
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
