- Owns the product – Provides technical leadership of the development in Pega and along with complete hands-on experienced role
- Is knowledgeable enough to do the work and instruct/lead others on data model, security, reporting, performance, case life cycle, case hierarchy, UX/UI, error handling, and infrastructure.
- Mentors the development team and installs best practices within the development team.
- Leads quality checking and improves overall testing.
- Prevents/catches errors/defects going into QA - reduce defect rate
- Prevents/eliminates production errors with production releases with forethought in how bug fixes and enhancements impact other application functionality.
- Has the technical capability to lead development of brand-new workflows.
- Provide the technical thought leadership in Pega design and offers alternatives incorporating best practices
- Validates and challenge user stories as well as provide expertise to more accurately point user stories.
- Maintains guardrail scores within Pega best practices
- Clearly communicates ideas with the team - verbally and written in user stories
