Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $65.00–$70.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Nights, 3×12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); every third weekend required (Friday – Saturday). 48 HPW schedule also available.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a 36 hours-per-week ICU Registered Nurse travel contract position, with 13- or 26-week engagement options available. A 48 HPW schedule is also open. The role is based in an inpatient ICU setting and requires float coverage to the ED for boarders as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio.
• Float to the Emergency Department for boarders as needed.
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all clinical charting and documentation.
• Adhere to every-third-weekend rotation requirements (Friday–Saturday).

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Must have previous Medical ICU and Surgical ICU experience.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Epic charting system (must have prior Epic experience).
• Ability to float to the ED for boarder patients as needed.

Education Requirements

• Permanent Massachusetts (MA) RN license required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Inpatient ICU setting; overnight night-shift schedule.
• Every third weekend rotation required (Friday–Saturday).
• Float to Emergency Department for boarders as needed.
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed).
• COVID-19 vaccination: not required.

Important Notes

• Candidates must be aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam.
• Each exam allows 1 attempt only. Failure of either exam results in immediate contract cancellation.
• Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and facility-specific orientation (FDIs).
