Senior Oracle CPQ DeveloperLocation: Norwalk, CT (Hybrid or Remote)The OpportunityWe are looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented Oracle CPQ Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting our Oracle CPQ platform, helping ensure the system effectively supports our products, business processes, and customer experience.You will work closely with Product Management, IT, and other business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop solutions, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system functionality. Successful candidates will be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and translating business needs into reliable, scalable technical solutions.This is a hands-on technical role focused on development, configuration, integrations, and system support. You'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on how our business operates while developing expertise in a highly customized Oracle environment.This position can be based out of our Norwalk, CT headquarters on a hybrid schedule or can be fully remote. This is a contract-to-hire position.Key ResponsibilitiesCPQ Development & ConfigurationDesign, develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle CPQ functionality to support evolving business requirements.Build and maintain configurators, business rules, workflows, pricing logic, approval processes, and supporting functionality.Develop and support customizations utilizing BML, BMQL, data tables, configuration rules, commerce processes, and related Oracle CPQ technologies.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.System Support & TroubleshootingServe as a technical subject matter expert for Oracle CPQ.Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, configuration, integration, and data-related issues.Investigate root causes and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems.Provide ongoing support for users and business teams utilizing the platform.Integrations & Technical ArchitectureDevelop and maintain integrations between Oracle CPQ and other enterprise systems.Work with REST and SOAP APIs to ensure reliable data exchange and system connectivity.Support system enhancements, upgrades, and integration initiatives as business needs evolve.Testing & Release ManagementParticipate in the design, testing, validation, and deployment of new functionality and system enhancements.Collaborate with Product Management and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet requirements prior to release.Support testing efforts related to Oracle CPQ updates, enhancements, and new product launches.Documentation & Continuous ImprovementCreate and maintain technical documentation, configuration documentation, and business process documentation.Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, and user experience.Stay current on Oracle CPQ capabilities, best practices, and emerging technologies.Recommend and implement enhancements that improve business effectiveness and operational efficiency.Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ.Experience developing and maintaining complex product configurators and business rules.Strong experience with Oracle CPQ development technologies including:BMLBMQLXSLXMLJSONHTMLCSSConfiguration RulesCommerce ProcessesData TablesFile ManagerCatalog DefinitionProcess DefinitionApproval WorkflowsExperience developing documents, email, and reportsExperience working with the CPQ HomepageExperience with CPQ Administration, including Configuration Settings, Quote Settings, Integration Settings, and General Site Settings.Experience with Report ManagerExperience building and supporting integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.Experience with CPQ-CX integration and data flowsExperience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical specifications.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience working in highly cross-functional environments.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Beneficial (But Not Required) SkillsOracle CPQ certification.Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).Experience with Oracle Fusion CX applications and integrations.Experience working with ERP, CRM, or eCommerce platforms.Experience in a direct-to-consumer, retail, manufacturing, or product-based business environment.Experience supporting large-scale CPQ implementations, redesigns, or migrations.Experience working in Agile development environments.Benefits:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Hybrid or remote work schedule offering flexibility and work-life balance.Professional development and growth opportunities.Opportunity to work onsite in a collaborative and innovative environment at our office within the Merritt 7 Corporate Park, featuring:Convenient Location: Access to Fairfield County, Manhattan and New Haven via the onsite Metro North station.On-site Fitness Center: Access to a private fitness center with extended hours, featuring cardio, resistance, and free weight equipment, along with locker rooms and shower facilities.Food Halls & Cafés: Two full food service options with indoor and outdoor seating, plus two Starbucks cafés.Convenience Services: On-site amenities such as car detailing, bank ATMs, shoe repair, and a full-service salon.Tenant Events: Year-round events including workshops, luncheons, happy hours, and health and wellness programs.We would love to hear from you.
