Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) professional position located in the healthcare organization. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to various patient populations, including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, psychiatric, and telemetry patients. The position requires the ability to float within scope to different units and adapt to various clinical environments, with a focus on maintaining professional standards and ensuring patient safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months, one year of nursing experience, and the ability to self-study telemetry strips with completion of a basic dysrhythmia test out during orientation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience is advantageous and may enable float to Critical Care Units such as the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Float: Float rotation may be required to multiple units including Behavioral Health and Emergency Department, with additional float to critical care units if activation occurs.
• Additional Information: Traveler will deliver care utilizing assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation processes. The role includes occasional on-call responsibilities during periods of low census, with a requirement to respond and arrive on-site within one hour if called in. The assignment duration is from 10/12/2026 to 01/10/2027, with an estimated work week of 36 hours and the possibility of overtime.
