Emergency Department RN - Emergency Room

Schedule
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
- Ohio RN license (compact or state)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Assess and triage patients, prioritizing care based on clinical urgency.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilator care and procedural sedation.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes
- Strict fingerprinting/credentialing timeline: fingerprints must be completed immediately after contract signing; strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions).
- Return-to-Office (RTO) required with submission; must be built into contract.
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director or formal leader (charge RN acceptable as 2nd); no coworker references.
- Education: degree must be from ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.
- Vaccines: Flu required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required.
