Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, weekdays with some weekends; rotating holidays.

Assignment Details

Daily census of approximately 195 and about 110 visits per day. Trauma Level 3; Primary Stroke & STEMI center.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Emergency Room experience required.
• Valid RN license (compact or state license).
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; NRP, PALS, and TNCC are additional certifications preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and manage IV starts/maintenance.
• Recognize and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer blood products and care for ventilated patients.
• Provide procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• Manage care of CVA/stroke patients.
• Administer continuous IV sedation where applicable.

Compliance / Notes

Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting process as soon as the contract is signed; strict compliance deadline in place. Current employees of partner facilities are ineligible; former employees eligible after 6+ months away. Flu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only).
