Responsibilities

• Prepare and label specimens appropriately for laboratory testing in accordance with lab protocols.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of collected specimens and related activities.

Required Skills

• Excellent phlebotomy skills with experience in pediatric and geriatric specimen collection.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in keyboard and data entry tasks to accurately document specimen information.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; over one year of experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environments is a plus.
• Flexibility to accommodate staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime shifts.
