Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist Lakewood, CA – 3504 South St, Lakewood, CA 90712 Work Schedule Monday – Friday: 6:15am – 11:15am Rotating Saturdays (schedule to be confirmed) Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Accurately enter patient data into the system. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain logs of patient and specimen information. Provide superior customer service to patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when necessary. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. California state‑issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) or a pending application for such license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of experience as a phlebotomist. Previous experience at LabCorp. Additional Job Standards Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $23.00 – $33.00 per hour Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in a quarterly incentive bonus program based on performance metrics.
