Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases in the OR.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers to deliver individualized, high-quality, safe patient care for patients and families.
• Adhere to applicable nursing practice standards and ethics, and apply evidence-based practice and ongoing professional competencies.
• Ensure accurate documentation, patient safety, and compliance with infection control and sterile technique standards.
• Support service excellence by following policies and procedures, participating in handoffs, and advocating for the patient’s voice and needs.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia
• Ability to work in a hospital OR setting and perform perioperative responsibilities
• Knowledge of perioperative safety, sterile technique, and infection control
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to work four 10-hour day shifts
