Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR) at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The shift is Monday through Friday from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, with call availability. The assignment is available starting March 30, 2026, through March 28, 2026, supporting the ongoing delivery of exceptional patient care.

• Epic Experience Required
• Certifications Not In-Hand: Must be willing to obtain; note in packet

• Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact (RN-COMPACT); BLS or ARC-BLS or BLS-I
• Education: Associate's Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor's Nursing (Preferred)
• Minimum Experience: Less than 1 year; completion of accredited/approved nursing program with clinical hours
• Experience: Preferred with direct patient care
• Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English; proficient with technology supporting clinical care; strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to respond to emergencies decisively and respectfully; excellent time management; evidence-based nursing practice; critical thinking skills
