Operations Manager

The Warehouse Operations Manager will provide leadership & oversite at our warehouse located in Rancho Dominguez, CA. The Operations Manager will be responsible for seamless execution on existing business, improve upon existing processes and develop the team and drive growth. The OM is responsible for business planning, process implementation and improvement, talent management and oversight of operational functions to ensure that quality, growth, and efficiency goals are met.Monday-Friday; 6:30a-3:00pm (OT as needed)Responsibilities:The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:Operational execution for all services required of C.H. Robinson CustomersDrives the safety, efficiency, and accuracy of all operationsConducts analysis of workload as compared to manpower and equipmentEnsures work schedules are in place to promote efficiencyImplements staffing model to align with workload and labor goalsManages KPI’s of all departments and drives performance coachingEffective at containing costs & managing to a budgetManagement of Operations: Order Fulfillment, Shipping,Implements safety and sanitation schedules that ensure the facilities compliance with corporate, OSHA, and AIB standardsEnsures meetings are held reviewing warehouse issuesWorks with Transportation to ensure smooth flow of inbound and outbound carriersPartners with Service Assurance to ensure all customer needs are being metEnsures daily pre-shift meetings cover safety, previous productivity, operational opportunities, forecasting workload and any other pertinent company informationResponsible for the training and development of the teamPerform gap analysis on all warehouse standard operating proceduresParticipates in department or company meetingsAssumes responsibilities of Operational Supervisors/Managers on vacationAbility to work Monday – Friday 2:00am – 11:00pm.Ability to work overtime if needed – up to 2 hours per day.Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirementsRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 6 years of Warehouse operations experienceMinimum of 4 years people management experienceHigh School diploma or GEDExperience in a high volume/high transaction manufacturing and/or warehousing environmentPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityExcellent communication skillsStrong Excel skillsStrong statistical and math skillsStrong reporting and analytical skillsWe will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience.Compensation Range$84,700.00 - $133,900.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
