Our Special Education Program specifically addresses the needs of students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and those who have experienced trauma. This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work setup that accommodates both your professional and personal needs. While the majority of your work will be performed from home, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and other therapists, to ensure a cohesive approach to student care. Regular team meetings will be held to discuss student progress, treatment strategies, and to provide mutual support among staff members.

Your responsibilities as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of students with special needs.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on improving emotional well-being and integration within the school community.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to challenges such as ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and trauma.
\n
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering emotional regulation, personal growth, and effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating with educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention during mental health emergencies and supporting students and families through these challenges.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Staying current with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in mental health practice.

This role primarily serves students enrolled in our Special Education Program who face a variety of mental health challenges. You will work closely with children and adolescents with diverse needs, including those on the autism spectrum, students who experience emotional and behavioral disorders, and those requiring trauma-informed care. Your expertise will play a crucial role in addressing their unique educational and emotional requirements, ultimately aiding their path to success.

To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• A current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and trauma-informed care.
\n
• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments, diagnosing conditions, and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and colleagues both in person and via teletherapy tools.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with relevant backgrounds in special education settings, or those trained in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, will be given special consideration. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to ongoing professional development are also highly valued.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
