Pediatric Emergency Registered Nurse (RN)An exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Emergency Registered Nurse (RN) is available. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced pediatric emergency setting.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver nursing care to pediatric patients in an emergency department environment.Utilize advanced nursing skills, including triage, IV starts, tele monitoring, and conscious sedation.Effectively communicate with families and healthcare teams to ensure optimal care and support.Maintain accurate and up-to-date computerized charting within established standards.Participate in staffing needs by being flexible with scheduling and shift assignments.QualificationsCurrent RN license in California.Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a separate pediatric emergency department or children's hospital.Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).Experience with computerized charting and administrative functions.Ability to work weekends and provide full scheduling flexibility as required.Flu vaccination is mandatory.Shift Details3x12 variable shifts (day/night).Availability for two out of three holidays, including holiday eves.Maximum of 6 days of requested time off (RTO).Additional InformationThis position offers guaranteed hours following the adherence to established call-off policies.
