Group Lead II, Warehouse (M-F 11am-7:30pm)

Group Lead II supervising up to 13 warehouse associates in pharmaceutical operations at a North Chicago facility. The role directs shift activities, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, manages equipment performance, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Direct operational activities and manpower schedules for warehouse associates
Analyze equipment performance and resolve manufacturing alarms and failures
Enforce safety, quality, environmental, and operational policies across shift
Lead process improvement initiatives and document procedural changes
Provide on-the-job training and supervisory input for employee evaluations

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
5 years pharmaceutical operations experience; 2+ years as warehouse lead
Knowledge of DEA, TSA, FAA, IATA, DOT, IMDG, FTZ compliance regulations
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (PI, SAP, or similar)
Forklift experience; certification preferred
General computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk entire 8-hour shift
