Reporting into one of our Value Streams, Frames or Doors, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties, including manual work handling materials for our various manufacturing and service departments. What You Will Do: Perform production work as directed to assist Machine Operators set up and operate machines Handle and transport raw materials, parts, supplies, tools, fixtures, dies and trucks Work in all departments to load and unload trucks, count, weight, transport, and pile materials in storage areas Position and handle materials to load and unload conveyors, racks, containers, etc. for processing equipment Deliver materials and parts to manufacturing departments as directed Clean materials Follow standardized methods of work What You Need to Succeed: You must have the ability to see well, including strong depth perception and the ability to distinguish between colors You will be required to continuously or near continuously stand and maintain your balance You will need to be able to frequently (4 or more hours per day): lift, carry (25-50 lbs.), stoop, twist, and reach (overhead and to the side) You need to be able to occasionally walk, push & pull heavy carts Climbing, kneeling, and crouching may also be required Allegion is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr allegion
