You’ll act as the bridge between Brand Marketing and Sales, delivering compelling in-store and omnichannel experiences that elevate the consumer journey across all channels for our Catit, Fluval, and ExoTerra brands. How You’ll Be Contributing: Essential duties and responsibilities: Shopper Strategy & Planning Develop annual shopper marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives, retail account goals, and the pet food category shopper journey. Translate shopper insights into actionable activation plans. Lead customer-specific marketing initiatives in collaboration with Sales and Retail partners to achieve Hagen and Retailer KPIs Identify growth opportunities by channel, retailer, and shopper segment. Program Development & Execution Create and execute integrated retail programs including: In-store displays and POS materials Retail media and digital commerce programs Promotions and seasonal activations Shopper-targeted digital campaigns Manage agency partners and vendors to deliver best-in-class retail materials. Oversee creative development ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with: Brand Marketing to align on positioning and innovation launches Key Account Managers and Brokers to support customer pitch materials and selling stories Brand, Sales, Insights/Analytics, and Finance on promotional effectiveness Supply Chain to ensure execution readiness Present plans internally and externally to retail partners. Budget Management Manage shopper marketing budgets by customer/channel. Track program ROI and optimize spend for maximum effectiveness. Ensure alignment with trade and promotional funding strategies. Measurement & Insights Offer insights based on syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen/IRI), retailer POS data, and digital metrics. Develop and maintain a program scorecard to track spend efficiency and continuous improvement across accounts. Conduct post-event recaps and identify best practices. Monitor competitive activity and shopper trends. Qualification requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field (MBA preferred). 5+ years of warehouse experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or brand marketing within a Consumer Packaged Goods company. Previous pet industry experience preferred, but not required. Strong understanding of retail dynamics and omnichannel marketing. Experience working with major retailers (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kroger, Amazon, Petco, Petsmart). Proficiency in syndicated data analysis tools (e.g., Nielsen, Circana/IRI). Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills. Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
