Senior Associate – Construction Practice Group (South Florida)

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Associate to join its South Florida Construction Practice Group.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate should have at least five (5) years of experience in transactional and litigation matters, with a focus on construction law. This role involves supporting various construction-related agreements and offers exposure to both domestic and international projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting and negotiating construction, design, design-build, and related contracts.
• Collaborate to assess the specific contractual needs of a project, taking into account factors such as cost, location, and intended use.
• Use legal expertise to identify and minimize risks during the contract processformation..
• Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel .
• Provide strategic advice, timely updates, and appear in court when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience , with a focus on construction litigation and/or transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex litigation matters.
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be admitted to practice in Florida .
