Pay: $22.35 – $23.10 Schedule: Non-Exempt, Day Shift, Full Time, Monday – Friday working 40 hrs/week, Seasonal with a week layoff in December and some summer layoff. Requirements Qualifications include but are not limited to: HS Diploma (or GED) plus Technical/Vocational certificate. CDA and 1 to 3 years working with low-income families and/or young children preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Must be willing to attain CDA. Must be willing to earn a CDL. Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices for the classroom is essential. Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence. Basic math skills. Ability to apply common sense solutions in standardized situations. Must have the ability to work in a positive and cooperative manner children, staff and parents. Must effectively and professionally deal with typical and unexpected classroom situations. Must honor private/confidential information. Must have basic computer skills including working with e-mail, internet, data entry, computer files, databases and/or web-based programs.
