ER RN - Emergency Department

Schedule

Nights, 3x12s. Every other weekend and holiday required.

Assignment Details

13 weeks.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
Active state RN or compact license.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
Preferred certifications: TNCC, ASLS.
EPIC experience required.
Typical patient ratios: 4-5 patients.
Preferred previous charge experience and trauma level II experience.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
Manage ventilator care, arterial/central line management, and IV/vasopressors.
Administer blood products and interpret dysrhythmias/ECGs.
Monitor procedural sedation and triage patients effectively.
Provide care for trauma, orthopedic, and neuro trauma cases.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams.

Compliance / Notes

Complete lab work and EKG/dysrhythmia exam within specified deadlines after signing. Attendance policy in place. Parking details will be provided.
