Take your Special Education expertise to the next level with these dynamic contract positions supporting students in an engaging school environment near Springtown, TX. We are seeking two dedicated professionals to step into immediate roles as Special Education Teachers, focusing on life skills instruction for students at both the elementary and high school levels.
Available assignments include:
- Role A: Elementary-level Life Skills (K-2nd grade, 4-student caseload)
- Role B: High School Life Skills (5-student caseload, beginning November for maternity coverage and possibly extending through the end of the school year)
- One candidate with flexibility may take on both assignments consecutively
Both positions are full-time, with working hours from 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM. The assignments begin immediately. End dates will vary, as some contracts may continue until internal hires are made, and others are anticipated through the school year.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Demonstrated classroom experience, specifically with life skills or special education populations
- Ability to tailor instruction and support to diverse student needs
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
- Adaptability to manage changing assignments or multiple caseloads as needed

- Develop and deliver life skills-focused educational programs
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
- Adapt strategies and interventions for optimal student support
