We hire experienced upholsterers into our Level II, Level III (Senior), or Level IV (Master) positions based on demonstrated skill, craftsmanship, quality, and experience. Each level has a corresponding pay range, and employees have opportunities to advance to higher levels as they develop their skills and demonstrate performance.

Summary Job Description

This position is responsible for applying upholstery materials to furniture frames using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools.

Essential Duties

• Use various tools to apply padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame, completing the inside of an upholstered piece of furniture
• Build pieces so cover is smooth and fits the frame properly
• Must be able to read and follow production tickets
• Must be able to line, spot match, 4-way line and tuft
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous upholstery experience a plus

• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks
