Position Requirements You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with heavy construction equipment or rental equipment required. Intermediate experience with major & minor repairs of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, diesel and gas engines on construction equipment. Experience with Tier 4 engines and DPF, SCR, and EGR aftertreatment systems is preferred. Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing equipment repairs. Must have the necessary tools you need to perform the scope of equipment repairs. Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications. Intermediate understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods. Diesel laptop and welding experience is preferred. Safety oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards performing equipment repairs.
