Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Job Description Job Description Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an HVAC Service Technician, preferably in commercial or industrial facilities Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in commercial or industrial facilities Strong working knowledge of: HVAC mechanical systems, Electrical troubleshooting related to HVAC equipment and Refrigeration principles and airflow diagnostics Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals EPA Universal Certification (or ability to obtain) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive electrical, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Commercial HVAC systems, including: Rooftop units (RTUs) Split systems Air handlers, VAV boxes, and exhaust systems Boilers, chillers, and heat pumps (where applicable) Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related HVAC issues and implement effective corrective actions Perform HVAC system startup, shutdown, seasonal changeovers, and performance optimization Monitor building automation systems (BAS) and make minor control adjustments as needed Ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and in compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and documentation related to HVAC workaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
