Project Manager - Big Box Commercial

We are seeking experienced Commercial Project Managers to join our growing team in either our Boca Raton or Tampa Bay office. This is an outstanding opportunity for a construction professional with a proven track record of successfully managing commercial ground-up projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, financial oversight, scheduling expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Project Experience Desired

Candidates should have experience managing one or more of the following project types:

• Ground-Up Retail
• Big Box Retail
• Supermarkets
• Municipal Facilities
• Mixed-Use Developments
• Multi-Family Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from inception through completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and cost controls
• Administer subcontractor contracts and manage subcontractor performance
• Review and negotiate change orders while maintaining project profitability
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and field teams
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and company standards
• Utilize project management software to monitor progress, costs, and documentation
• Provide regular project reporting to senior leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
• Minimum 10 years of total experience in the commercial construction industry
• Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and change management
• Experience with subcontractor administration and contract management
• Proficiency with construction management software, including Procore
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Stable employment history with demonstrated career progression

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Building Construction , Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with multiple commercial project types listed above

$115000 - $150000 USD per year
