Job Opportunity: Hospitalist Physician

Our organization is in search of a talented and committed Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for a full-time Hospitalist role at Rome Memorial Hospital, situated in Rome, New York. The selected candidate will:

• Deliver professional medical services to a daily patient load of 12-15 individuals during their hospital stay.
• Coordinate necessary follow-up care upon patient discharge.
• Conduct daily rounds for all patients enrolled in the Hospitalist Program, admit new patients, and respond to rapid response calls.
• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations, documenting findings in our Paragon EMR system.
• Collaborate with the Attending Physician and Intensivist to effectively manage medical crises or changes in patients' conditions, consulting with relevant parties promptly.
• Work a schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM.
• Operate in an open ICU environment with 24/7 Intensivist support.
• Engage with a well-established medical center that offers extensive subspecialty support.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• A valid medical license in New York State.
• Previous experience as a Hospitalist is preferred but not mandatory.
• Outstanding clinical and communication abilities.
• The capability to excel in a dynamic hospital setting.

Our organization provides a comprehensive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• A guaranteed base salary ranging from $250,000 to $275,000. This figure represents the starting total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, or other applicable cash compensation.
• A starting bonus of $15,000.
