Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care for critically ill adults across the float pool, including CCU, IMCU, ED holds, and MS units as assigned
- Monitor patient status using telemetry, hemodynamic data, and clinical assessment; respond to alarms and changes in condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and support advanced modalities as trained (including ventilatory support)
- Operate and manage specialized equipment and therapies as applicable (IABP, CRRT, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM) per physician orders
- Document accurately in Epic EMR; participate in rounds, update care plans, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and family communication; escalate clinical concerns to the charge nurse or physician promptly

Requirements
- Active New York RN license with Nursys verification
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH required
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- EMR: Epic proficiency or demonstrated experience
- Ability to float across multiple units (ED holds, ICU/IMCU, MS) and manage high-acuity patients
- Submission requires TRAVEL experience; RTO requests must be included at time of submission
