Overview This opening is for our Housekeeper II position. Employees could perform their work at any or all of our locations below depending on their manager’s discretion. You must be able to work our required schedule of Monday‑Friday 7:00a.m.–3:30p.m. with rotating weekends and holidays. Job Description Summary Provides high levels of cleanliness, quality, and service to patients, families and customers. Essential Functions Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues and other concerns. Demonstrates knowledge of the 10‑Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards. Practices proper methods of infection control in conjunction with cleaning procedures. Demonstrates proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions. Maintains closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly and good working condition. Maintains department’s standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback. Education Requirement High school graduate or equivalent, required. Certifications Successful completion of TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) requirements during orientation process or within 30 days of hire. Must maintain certification throughout employment. Skills Ability to speak and understand English. Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10‑Step Cleaning Process. Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multi‑task. Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere. Experience Previous housekeeping experience, preferred. Physical Requirements Occasionally: climb stairs/ladder, computer skills, hot temperatures, lifting/carrying 21‑40lbs, lifting/carrying 41‑60lbs, loud noises, patient equipment, pushing/pulling 100lbs or greater with assistance, pushing/pulling 61‑100lbs, sitting, squat/kneel, working outdoors. Frequently: lifting/carrying 0‑10lbs, lifting/carrying 11‑20lbs, pushing/pulling 41‑60lbs. Continuously: audible speech, Bend/twist, biohazard waste, blood and/or bodily fluids, chemicals/medications, color vision, communicable diseases and/or pathogens, decision making, depth perception, electricity, flexing/extending of neck, fume/gases/vapors, hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, hearing acuity, interpreting data, machinery, peripheral vision, power tools, problem solving, pushing/pulling 0‑25lbs, pushing/pulling 26‑40lbs, reaching above shoulder, repetitive hand/arm use, seeing – far/near, standing, walking.
