Job Title: AP/AR Specialist (Part-Time) Position Overview
We are seeking an efficient, detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist to manage our client's daily transactional accounting functions. This part-time role focuses heavily on accounts payable operations, general ledger accuracy, and transaction reconciliation.
If you have a strong foundational grasp of accounting, navigate QuickBooks Online with ease, and pride yourself on absolute data accuracy, we want to hear from you.
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time (30 hours per week)
Location: Shelby Township, MI
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Own the full-cycle AP process (invoicing, matching, and approvals) and provide secondary support for AR billing and collections.
Ledger Reconciliation: Cross-reference costs, verify invoice accuracy against purchase orders, and reconcile ledger discrepancies.
QuickBooks Management: Process, code, and enter daily financial transactions cleanly within QuickBooks Online .
Data Integrity: Perform routine data entry and file maintenance to ensure transactional records are audit-ready.
Administrative Support: Handle essential clerical duties including digital and physical document filing.
Technical Proficiency: Strong, practical experience working within QuickBooks Online is required.
Accounting Foundation: Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, cost matching, and AP/AR workflows.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in entering numbers, catching ledger discrepancies, and managing data entries.
Efficiency: Ability to self-manage time across a 30-hour workweek.
