Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Full Description

Our client is currently in need of an Assistant Warehouse Manager. This position requires someone is hands on and responsible to manage all aspects of the warehouse. The Assistant Warehouse Manager will work alongside the Warehouse Manager in maximizing quality and productivity by understanding the expectation of the company.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operation for the shipping and receiving area - fulfillment and inventory to maximize efficiency and accuracy
• Utilize shipping software systems, such as UPS WorldShip and FedEx Manager to ensure accuracy with customer orders
• Reach truck and forklift certified
• Must be able to communicate, delegate and implement effectively while keeping a team-oriented mindset
• Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
• Assist with directing the necessary daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all
employees
• Assist with all picking, packing, and shipping customer orders
• Ability to frequently lift and move heavy packages
• Must have 1-3 years' previous warehouse experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Proficient with shipping software systems (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, Loftware (LPS) and EDI
• Highly organized record keeping and data organization
• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with critical attention to detail and follow through
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude towards team, vendors and clients
• Bilingual in Spanish

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000/year with bonus and growth opportunity. Full company benefits including PTO, paid holidays, health insurance and yearly bonus based on productivity.
