With the expansion of SKIMS Beauty, packaging plays a critical role in shaping the consumer experience—where performance, aesthetics, and brand storytelling meet.We are seeking a Packaging Development Manager to create innovative, elevated, and commercially scalable packaging solutions that bring the SKIMS Beauty brand to life across all products and channelsRole OverviewThe Packaging Development Manager will be responsible for designing and developing primary and secondary packaging across SKIMS Beauty’s portfolio. This role blends creative excellence with technical rigor—translating brand vision into manufacturable, compliant, and best-in-class packaging solutions.You will partner closely with Product Development, Brand, Creative, Regulatory, and Operations to deliver packaging that is both iconic and operationally sound.Key ResponsibilitiesPackaging Design & DevelopmentDesign primary and secondary packaging across all beauty categories.Translate brand strategy and product briefs into distinctive, functional packaging concepts.Develop dielines, structures, and artwork in collaboration with engineering and suppliers.Brand Expression & Visual ExcellenceEnsure all packaging reflects SKIMS Beauty’s visual identity, tone, and premium positioning.Partner with Creative and Brand to evolve packaging systems and design standards.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Product Development, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations to ensure packaging is compliant, scalable, and manufacturable.Support packaging readiness for new product launches.Technical ExecutionPrepare production-ready files, specs, and documentation.Review proofs, samples, and pre-production runs for accuracy and quality.Vendor & Production SupportPartner with packaging suppliers and manufacturers on feasibility, cost, and timelines.Participate in vendor reviews, sampling, and troubleshooting.Sustainability & InnovationSupport sustainable packaging initiatives and material innovation.Identify opportunities to improve functionality, cost, and environmental impact.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise4+ years of packaging design experience in beauty, cosmetics, consumer products, or luxury goods.Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design, structural thinking, and brand expression.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)Adobe Dimension, Cinema 4D, Blender, Artios CAD or a similar 3D mock up toolWorking knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and production workflows.Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced product development environments.Core CompetenciesStrong design sensibility with attention to detail and craftHighly collaborative and cross-functional partnerTechnically curious with strong production disciplineOrganized, deadline-driven, and solutions-orientedPassion for beauty, design, and brand storytellingWhy Join SKIMS BeautyThis is an opportunity to help define the packaging language of a new global beauty platform.
