Quality Control Technician - Night Shift - Monday to Thursday (8pm - 6am)

We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team and support incoming inspection of molded and purchased parts Monday through Thursday (8pm - 6am). In this role, you'll ensure components meet engineering and quality standards through precise inspection and documentation. You'll play a key role in maintaining product integrity and supporting warehouse operations, with additional responsibilities in first article inspections (FAI) and cross-departmental support.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections using MicroVu vision system, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools; examining materials and products for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and short shots; measuring and electronically recording dimensional data to ensure compliance with part specifications; comparing products against engineering prints and documented standards; communicating inspection status to Tooling, Molding, and Quality teams; generating quality advisement documentation and reports for QA Engineers or Supervisor; reporting findings via email and following up on stock disposition; collaborating with warehouse personnel to place approved components into inventory; performing calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment; rejecting defective parts and documenting defect types on containers or inspection tags; assisting in root cause investigations using molding process data and written standards; providing support to assembly, molding, kitting, warehouse, or other departments as needed; and performing other duties as assigned by supervisor (written or verbal).

Must haves include one-year certificate from college or technical school, or 36 months of related experience/training; ability to read and interpret detailed part and assembly prints; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; and strong communication skills and follow-through on assigned tasks. Nice to haves include an associate's degree in engineering or science and experience with MicroVu or other precision measurement equipment.
