Position Summary

The Front Office Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a medical facility's front desk and administrative functions. This position requires a combination of managerial, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively oversee staff, manage patient interactions, and maintain efficient administrative processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage front office staff.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure staff productivity and adherence to established protocols.
• Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and courteously, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the patient.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement office policies, procedures, and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and manage office inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure adequate levels for daily operations.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline processes and enhance overall office performance.
• Liaise with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and other departments to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless communication.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address operational challenges and achieve organizational goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience in a medical office setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in medical billing software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance and medical coding.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and customer service.

Education Requirements

• High School diploma and/or GED
